Pahrump Traffic Statistics ![]() Pahrump has 8 portable traffic count stations. Due to
the tremendous growth within the past few years, an increase in traffic flow
at various locations is evident. The traffic along State Route 160 (.8 miles
north of the Clark-Nye county line) has more than doubled in the past 10 years.
This is the main route for travel between Pahrump and Las Vegas. Traffic
along State Route 160 within the Town of Pahrump has also greatly increased,
in some cases more than doubling in the past 10 years. State Routes 160 and
372 run through Pahrump. State Route 372 leads from Pahrump to Shoshone, CA.
Travel along this route has remained consistent out near the NV-CA state line.
The drop in traffic indicated on Hafen Ranch Road (CAAS St.) does not indicate
a drop in traffic but rather the availability of a more direct route. Manse
Road was expanded and now connects directly to State Route 160 and is now the
common route to the highway. |
