Pahrump Valley Museum
The Pahrump Valley Museum, established in 1991 by Harry Ford and Charles Gallivan,
is located at 401 E. Basin Rd, one block west of Hwy 160 in the town of Pahrump.
It has one of the finest President Lincoln memorabilia collections in the country.
This premier exhibit is a must see. The museum has taken an active role in
obtaining important historic buildings and relocating them to the museum site.
The old Pahrump Store, One Room School House and two grain storage tanks have
already been relocated. The Bowman Railroad Tie House and the Pahrump Ranch
House are soon to be moved, as well as erection of the 55-foot tall water tower
from the Nevada Gin Mill. The museum's 5000 square foot building will soon be
expanded with a 4,500 square foot addition. Come by for a visit soon.
