Amargosa Opera House 
Located on Route 127 near the Nevada/California state
line, is the Amargosa Opera House. Once a community center, it has been
transformed into an amazing theatre. Marta Beckett has personally hand-painted
a medieval audience (including gypsies, ladies of the evening, monks, and more)
on the walls, and cherubs on the ceiling, of this old theatre. Famous for
her artwork, her talent does not stop there, she performs shows with ballet,
theater, and pantomime where she is the actress, artist, choreographer, dancer,
and overall creative genius behind the show. A must see for those who love
the arts. Must call for reservations.
