Belmont Inn
The Historic Belmont Inn Bed and Breakfast is located 40 miles from Tonopah
in a secluded mountain pass. Once the offices for the Combination Silver
Mining Company, the building was constructed in 1866. Belmont was once the
Nye County seat, back in it's boomtown days, now it's a ghost town waiting to
be explored. The inn is the perfect place to get away from the rat race, slow
down and enjoy the sights. Within walking distance there are mills and old
building structures dating back to the 1860s. The Italianate courthouse is
just across the way and can be viewed from the inn's balcony. Just a short
distance away there are mountain streams where trout can be found. Activities
include hiking, horseback riding, 4-wheeling, motorcycling and rock climbing.
For those cold weather lovers there is snowmobiling and cross-country skiing
during the winter months. The inn has 5 uniquely decorated guest rooms, a
cozy parlor, and an authentic saloon. The inn is open year round and is also
available for special events such as reunions, anniversaries, weddings, etc.
Come for a visit and enjoy the rustic setting of this secluded haven.
